It has turned really chilly here, but that might be because I have been defrosting my "frost free" freezer. :x :x :x

Hope Billy approves Jo :)

The hydrocortisone only works if I catch them immediately. I felt something so went straight upstairs, but unfortunately only saw the one at the front, just by the collarbone. That turned out to be two, but there were two more round the back - it must have got into my neckline - so I missed those till later and they've been driving me mad. The whole of my neck/shoulder line is bright red

I'm going to make something with the apples too, just checked a recipe; it's a tart and you put a layer of cooked apple first, then top it with slices :)

You know you will, Ally ;)  8-)

I'm a bit worried that I might have been abducted in the night and cloned with Delia or Nigella - I've been cooking all day  First chops, baked spuds and veg followed by bananas and custard (H's faves at the moment) then I made tomato soup, and now have an apple cake cooking................

Should I ring for an ambulance..................?? :? :-P :geek:

I've had one of these for years Ton, don't use it very often but it's brilliant when needed :)
Mine came from a car boot sale ;)

Steak, chips, mushrooms, grilled tomatoes, onion rings...
Have choices though - just peppered, with sauce, the mushrooms as sauce, with mild blue cheese? Decisions, decisions...

Actually, we both like to have raw spinach with it when there's a sauce, or at least a big pile of salad leaves, and Bb fancied the onion rings which wouldn't go - peppered it is then, cooked in the griddle pan. Thanks, you've helped me decide

Di that sounds so delicious! :D We often have spinach leaves as salad, they are more nutritious than a lot of salad leaves, aren't they? :)
