Morning Ally, morning all :)
Lovely bright sunny start here.

The birdies are going berserk eating the seeds - there are lots more of them as the babies are all joining in, but I filled it yesterday morning and just realised they've had more than half of it  :D
We only have the one feeder (4 perches) and they queue/argue on the wall above it. When it went quiet yesterday I said to Bb that all the birds were in the tree making placards - 'We want more feeders'
Have a good day all

Good morning all!

Ally, I was up at 8 despite not going to bed until 4

It's a dull one here today, so far. The washing machine is on and Billy will be walked shortly. I need to go to B&Q with John too as he's fitting a door into the garage from the garden so I need to help him with that. There's some shopping to do too. Tonight we'll see my parents.
I quite fancy picking up some pansies for the pots too as they're looking a bit empty because everything died while we were on holiday.

Have a good day everyone!

I'm still in bed

We'll be out in about an hour though, taking H to spend his pocket money as he has accrued a heap of it, and still has some unspent holiday money as well   He doesn't take after his mum in that respect  :-P

Later we'll be going round D's as she wants Mick to take a photo of her for an ID card she needs for her voluntary work with Age Concern. She makes me smile when she says she's "Helping the oldies", as she is 77 on Monday 8-) :D

Have a good day everyone. Hugs for Shell (((((x))))) Di it's Bry's last day of keeping his head still isn't it? Have you found out yet what he needs to do, from tomorrow? xxxxx

Ooer Saundra, hope you find him! I put a huge daddy long legs out of our bathroom last night, massive it was! :?

Jo our pots are a bit sad too, for the same reason

Have a good day everyone, I'd better get up!!!! :-P

Morning all :D

The Harry Potter tour was fantastic, even better than we expected. We'd absolutely recommend it if you loved the books/films 8-) So far we've been lucky weatherwise, it's been wet and miserable first thing each morning and again late evening, but it's stayed dry while we've been out and about. Definitely no sunshine though.

Today we're off to Docklands to celebrate my brother's son's 1st birthday. It will be the first time we've met both the baby and Ivan's wife Maggie, should be a fun day :D

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning everyone

We have rain :kick: :kick: :kick: :kick:

It was really chucking it down - think torrential - at 4.00 this morning and I got up to have a look out of the window      Still warm though.

We need to do a beer run  and I'll pick up some peppers and other stuff too.

Apart from that, more of the dreaded cleaning the house, just in case ;)

Hope the poorly ones are feeling better this morning and hope you all have a good day xx

smillie with tongue sticking out to Ally - up and out that early

Morning everyone
I'm starting to feel better, but still feel off colour.
We have a friends daughter staying the night tonight. Hopefully there's nothing but sleep all night long
Managed o get 2 coats of varnish on the the skirting boards today in the toilet. Still a long chain o events to go before that's operational though. Any builders what to come to auckland? About a month should do it. Maybe 2. Oh heck, stay for 3 and see the sights.
Waiting patiently for Wed
Everything happens for a reason
