There has been a slight blip on my happiness chart today.
I've been head in the sand ignoring the fact we need a new vacuum..unfortunately Don used it this morning and had declared a hoover must be purchased forthwith.

The last time we shopped for white goods..a fridge/freezer..I nearly had to be hospitalised with the trauma of being dragged round fridge/freezer shops! :x

I shall do a Scarlett O'Hara and think about it tomorrow!

I had a sardine & tomato paste & cucumber sandwich, on white bread - reminded me of school packed lunches :D

You don't understand.....

The feel of unscratched gloss enamel, the clear view through a cylinder unsullied by dust, the crisp click of the lock as a front loader is opened, the smell and feel of a brand new handbook full of diagrams and technical specifications in seven different languages.........

None of that is available on t'Interweb.
