Aaaaargh!!!!

I just had a text from the school:

Year 12 Induction Parents' Evening Tues 10 Sept at 6pm in Upper School Hall. Letter/reply slip given to Tom today in tutor. Regards, Miss Simpson.

Talk about short notice!!! I've just phoned the school because I'm really, really not in the mood. Apparantly the kids were told in assembly last Wednesday but the staff didn't have a minute to draft a letter to the parents. Not a single minute. The admin who do the school website haven't updated that with the info either. They didn't even bother to send a text to parents (they use that text to parents service so all someone needs to do is write a quick text online and it goes out) to say that it was happening and a letter would follow!

But of course as a parent you have nothing better to do Jo than to drop everything to go into school.

Minnie's fine and now going down to 5mg every other day (it was 6.25 as they were 25mg tabs cut into quarters), for 4 weeks or so.

Bb said he'd phone if there was a problem but he hasn't - he had to get on and do his work. He was ok to drive; we think we know what it is but I'll wait and see what they've said.
