The C word - not that one, though ..

Postby TheOstrich » 03 Sep 2013, 12:33

Mrs O was looking pensive last night and I asked her if anything was the matter.

She said - "I could just roll on the floor and howl for chocolate ...."

We are trying to discipline ourselves at the moment, and not to keep any bars in the house ...... :D

Oh dear :?

I'll never forget the Christmas when Joe was a baby, John was staying overnight at his sister's house in Wales with Tom and I was home alone with Joe. I'd finally got him to sleep, he was in his cot, so I went downstairs and needed chocolate. There wasn't a single crumb to be found. There was a shop 5 minutes away but that would've meant waking Joe, bundling him up and putting him into his pram and on return, going through another hour or so of trying to get him to sleep
Gawd that was a long and miserable night

Generally speaking, I'm probably more likely to not have milk, or meat, than chocolate in the house

Oooooooooooh!!!! I had a lovely bar of chocolate in the fridge which I was saving for tonight, an Aldi praline bar. I've just gone into the fridge to get it and it's vanished!! :x
Both boys are denying taking it, it won't be John because he doesn't like praline. My money's on Tom who is doing his very best to annoy me today.
