It looks bright and lovely here, but having finally finished all of the holiday washing, and catching up on some of the day to day stuff, I have a humungous pile of ironing that I can no longer ignore So that's my morning taken care of anyway - what I do this afternoon depends on whether H wants to do anything

After ringing mum I need to make friends again with my household cleaning box as the h-word has just not been happening this week.

Kaz..you come and do my hoovering and I'll willingly do your ironing. It's a job I enjoy.

Although now that J and C do their own my pile has somewhat shrunk.

A bit cloudy but still warm and thunderstorms expected lçater

Off up to Bente's to defrost and clean the other fridge/freezer. But as it's wedged in corner, surrounded by zillions of 5 litre water bottles, shelves and other stuff, I'm not sure I'll be able to get it out to unplug it It's stuffed full of very expensive wine and other booze, so heavy too. Yes, I know I an take everything out, but when you're as clumsy as me......

Then I'll just sit and read a book, waiting for Grumpy to finish.

Morning all. Gorgeous sunny day here.

It's S's 13th birthday today - where did all that time go????

We are off shopping to Derby for the day - last few bits of school stuff (pencil cases, etc) and they both have loads of money to spend from their birthdays (£100 each). S has no idea what she wants and L has a list as long as her arm!!!!

No plans for this evening - she's having her birthday bash on Saturday. Cinema to see 1Directions new film and then sleepover with 3 friends.

Saundra enjoy your sit, I'll be joining Kaz, Ally and Ton in the h-word race Kaz I hope B does her own?! There was lots of youngest's but we didn't have all that much really - I don't mind ironing either, it's everything else

Bb didn't come yesterday, he had quite a bit to do. And it was far too busy to park anywhere near the front so I went to Sainsburys instead Not well-timed as the 25% off Tu clothes had finished, but I had pocket money left from our holiday and realised that as soon as the weather cools down I won't have much that fits again.
I saw bright red jeggings and thought, ooh, I want those Am I too old to wear bright red jeggings? - I've no idea and I don't care
And a nice thin grey longish top which will be ideal to go over short-sleeved t-shirts now and long-sleeved ones later
Oh and the Hairy Dieters recipe book - I've used a few from their first one and this has some good ones too

Morning all

My wifi went down early Tuesday morning and only came back online yesterday evening. It's crazy how much I've come to rely on it, felt quite bereft Luckily I have a nice new smartphone which is great for checking e-mails and FB, that kind of thing, it's really not good for forums. It's very laborious, needing the font set so high doesn't help either.

My car is in for it's annual service and MOT. The garage collected it a few minutes ago and I won't get it back much before 5pm so we won't be straying far today.
