I have hurts thumb.

I think it is repetitive strain injury from the THREE hours I have spent slicing runner beans ready to blanche,

And if I never see another marrow again it will be too soon. I now have 12 in the pantry and there are still loads on the plant.

It's been a productive season on the allotment this year.

After coming back from Florida we got a little bit squiffy. No. Alot squiffy.

Having a bit of a drunken soiree Don asked the now infamous question.

ha ha Snap !! I LOVE runner beans though so don't mind doing them. I gave a huge bag full to my sister the other day. I also have gallons of pasta sauce ............ courgettes, chopped toms, garlic, onions and mushrooms, frozen down. It will be used for spag bols, chilli, shep pies ........

Love runner beans too - we brought some back from our holiday They are hard work aren't they, but worth it for a lovely plateful
