Nice how growing up with music can still influence what you like in later life.

My mum was never a big music lover (too busy reading ) so it was dad that got me into Elvis, Billy Fury and Johnny Cash.

3 artists I adore (as well as others) to this day.

I grew up with my mum's records - Billy Fury, Elvis, Adam Faith, early Cliff...

Ditto - Buddy Holly, The Beatles, etc etc

Bit of pop trivia here - talking to Zoe whilst she was here, and her mum - my Aunty Pam - was at Ealing Art College in the very late 50s/ early 60s and shared a flat with Pete Townsend from The Who and she knew Mick Jagger - before they were famous She was very 'cool' and arty, my Aunty P
