Up with the sparrows to get my run done.

A swim and a walk out to get some lovely crusty bread that a panaderia sells in town..might stop on the way back for a beer.

GBBO repeat for me tonight and then off out to Paco's to watch the Malaga game. :D :D

Enjoy the day.

Morning :)
We never did get the rain yesterday, a few tiny spits was all. Today started cloudy but it's clearing and should be lovely :)
Tourists don't get up very early Saundra, you should have a couple of hours at least - we often walk down to the quay when it's busy, I quite like seeing all the people enjoying themselves :)

Today there's a Ly-Mini-ngton something in the high street. Don't know what to expect apart from a lot of Minis but we'll go and see :)
Youngest used to play spot-the mini whenever we were out in the car, in fact that's how Minnie got her name :D

Still have the last of our washing to get done, and youngest's ironing so the only dirty bits for him to take home will be from the last couple of days.
Hope everyone enjoys the day
Di
x
Ps Ally I'll have freshly-baked crusty bread in about another hour - honey & sunflower :)

Morning both :D Wish I was back at the seaside despite the clouds and drizzle over here in the West :D 8-) Instead we're having my MIL over for a roast chicken Sunday lunch - I'd rather have chips on the seafront but them's the breaks ;)   We will retire to the coast somewhere if it kills me!! :D :D ;)

That's my day in a nutshell, plus l'm still ploughing my way through the holiday washing - I had four sets of bedding and the towels to do yesterday! Got that all done and the bedding ironed and put away - now I need to start on the clothes  Hoping the weather will clear up later, as I hate having to tumble dry at this time of year ;)

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

ETA Morning Di, that bread sounds lovely but I am off the wheat again, I need to really cut back after a week of self-indulgence  :D

Morning everyone. I've had a week long migraine. Not happy. Got it Monday morning, and had a reprieve on Friday morning, so went and helped my friend strip wallpaper, (something I oddly love doing  ) the the sore head returned. I'm still having trouble seeing straight, but hopefully I'm bounce back tomorrow.

Aww ((((((Weka)))))) that's not good :( Hope you're over it soon xx

Ally that sounds lovely too :D
Kaz what amazed me was the instant effect of bought sliced bread  !! It's such a long time since I had any I'd quite forgotten - by the time I went to meet Fugi on Wednesday I felt quite fat, and I hadn't had much of it, just 2 days' picnic lunches!

Our cottage had bedding provided and beds made up ;) We did have to take towels though, and yes I had to bite the bullet and use the dryer for those yesterday. I hardly ever do, it's a washer/dryer so not as good as a tumbler, plus you can't get another load washed until it's finished...I've got a load in washing now, and considering today was meant to be lovely but it's quite dark and cloudy, that may need the drier too

Morning everyone

Cloudy  and only 25C outside. 27C inside though

Have done a bit of gardening and swept the front patio, so looks good :D Had a chat with our Lisbon neighbours about gardening - they tend to use scissors, so lent them (again) our secatures

Weka, have a gentle hug. Hope it goes soon xxx

Got the grand prix to watch later and that's about it. BBQ for us later, pork steaks, white bean thingy and potatoes done on the bbq too :D

Have a good day everyone, whatever the weather is chucking at you xx
