You can't get it now though - for some reason.

It is still available but you have to ask at the pharmacy counter for it and some chemists don't stock it - failing that it's usually available in the Health & Beauty section on Amazon (and I'd imagine Ebay too). I think it's become more difficult to find because it can be used in bomb making.

Thanks, JoM. I didn't know that. I'll make some enquiries.

Ear wax is a bit of a problem when you have hearing aids,
and I don't care for the new pulsing, hammering syringing
device now used at our doctor's surgery.

I hope you can find some. I've just looked on Ebay and there are plenty of stockists with it on there - it seems to be around £3.50 which is including postage but should be much cheaper in a chemist.

Otex ear drops contain hydrogen peroxide and can be obtained at a pharmacy. Sodium Bicarbonate drops can also be used. Hope though it shifts and you will be able to hear again, Lissie. x
