Having a fabulous time!

Postby Diflower » 20 Aug 2013, 21:34

We've had a terrific day today :D
First we had 11 chickens and the cockerel all at our fence saying hello (well, asking if we had any food) :D
The we went to the donkey sanctuary, which was lovely. Next to a Branscombe, a beautiful village, then to its beach, uncrowded and unspoilt :D
Next stop was the Cider company -Bb and I are now enjoying some of our large vat of draught scrumpy :D
Then a farm shop for takeaway brownies, which were extremely yummy :D

This evening we've been into Lyme Regis for fish and chips which we ate sitting on the Cobb :D

The weather is perfect and Minnie has been absolutely brilliant :D
I've spoken to Kaz who has no wifi and no phone signal at the cottage so B thinks the world has ended :D
Don't think we're going to manage to meet, it's quite a way and these roads do make it seem much further!

More fun to be had tomorrow :D

Hello Di!! :D
So glad you're having a lovely time! I was wondering earlier how you were getting on and if Minnie was enjoying her holiday too :D

Poor B - I'm bracing myself for lack of 3G, well, even the lack of a phone signal next week!

Weeeeeeeell actually, the young son here told us if we wanted cider we should have gone to Scouse farm, just up the road, where they make their own, but which of course we didn't know existed -so we might have to get some more
The stuff we got yesterday was made right there and is really nice -and they had weird fruit ones so eldest was happy too (pear and peach).
