Don't like fish either, but I will eat tuna, at a push, or prawns.

I was a vegetarian for a loooong time until I was pregnant with Amy, fish is something I just cannot eat, the only meat I eat is chicken and beef - and its not very often either!

I didn't lift a finger tonight.

We had lasagne and salad, both made by L with cheese and onion bread made by S.

Then we had chocolate fudge brownie made by S with homemade raspberry ripple ice cream (made by both of them).

We are getting back into the routine of the girls making dinner on a Saturday.

This was L's first go at making lasagne all on her own and she did a fab job. She made the tomato sauce and added chopped mushrooms, courgettes and yellow pepper to the meat. She used a jar of white sauce. And then followed a recipe to make a Greek salad. Not bad for an 11 year old.

S's brownies were gorgeous as usual. She can make them in her sleep.

They had no friends around to play with today so were happy to spend the day in the kitchen.

I was in there too for some of the time, making marrow and ginger jam.

I lovey kitchen and big cooker - it means we can all be in there doing stuff.
