Morning Saundra, morning all :)
Okayish here at the moment, think it's meant to get wet. Doesn't matter, Bb's working although hopefully will be finished by lunchtime.

Finally finished that top yesterday; the armholes were still too big and the sides were gaping so I took it in again. It's ok, I'm pleased with how much my actual sewing has improved, the neckline is really neat. It's definitely wearable anyway :)
Have a good day all

Good morning peeps :D

Had a lie in till 9.30!

No run today..just a swim.

I'd love to be able to sew Di. :D
Yesterday in Torremolinos we stumbled on a great little shop selling funky clothes and Don bought me a fab vintage 60's dress and I remember saying to him it was such a simple design that I'd love to be able to make clothes like that. :D

A lazy day for me mostly reading.

Have a good one.

Good morning all!
It's dull and windy here, though at least it's stopped raining. I walked up to the campsite where John and the boys are yesterday evening, it's about 4 miles away from here and it was a lovely walk, mostly through woodland, although a little soggy at times. They've taken their bikes so are out on those this morning and I'm walking up again this afternoon - with marshmallows for toasting :D And I'll wear my wellies this time as it'll be even soggier after last night's rain.
This morning though I'm on nosey neighbour duty. The family opposite are a lesbian couple with three boys between them - two in their late teens/early 20s and the other is about 10. Early the other morning there was an argument between one of the women and one of the older boys out on the drive, and right now there's a hire van parked on the drive with stuff, including a bed, being loaded into the back. Saying that, they could just be doing a tip trip as they've all got small cars

Have a good one everyone!

How's the hand doing Loz?

 You know, we've got what we call the nosey window in our living room, it's only a small window at head height and is in the wall which is set back a bit, plus it's on the first floor so you can be a bit more inconspicuous. I don't think it's a tip trip as one of the women just came out with a load of shiny small storage boxes with lids on and loaded them into the back of her Mini :geek: I did wonder if one of them was going away to university but isn't it usually September that they seem to leave for that?

Mmm, they wouldn't normally be going to uni this early Jo...update later please 8-) :D

Loz what is it with armholes?! I gather that maybe what I should have done was make the whole thing smaller but with what's called a 'fuller bust adjustment', which would work for people like me with a narrow back/frame. Now I'm better at the actual sewing I need to learn more about how to get the fit just right ;)

Morning all,

First long lie in a long time here, woke before 7 but was determine I was not getting up - woke just after 10!  Amy is still sleeping!!

The sun is shining although it appears to be quite windy, just glad its dry :)

We are off to visit my friend from uni today, she didn't finish her last placement as she is pregnant, so once baby is here she will go back next year, do her 12 week placement then she will be finished! She is due her baby any day, so hoping to get a catch up before he arrives - she found out shes having a boy, she already has a 3yr old girl :) Can't wait for baby cuddles when the baby comes!

Hope you all have a good day
