Now, I knew our holiday cottage was fairly remote. Have spoken to the owner about collecting the key and she cheerfully said, 'I'll probably be out but the key will be in the door, just let yourselves in and make yourself at home' :D
Oh, and it's vacant from Sunday so we can arrive whatever time we like :D

All excited now as I've just ordered our Tesco delivery, to our holiday address :D

That's a good idea when you're remote! There is a huuuge newish Sainsburys at Dawlish Warren so we'll use that, same as we have the last couple of years :D

LOL Di! The farm we go to always has the doors open on the cottage when we get there, with the keys on the kitchen counter (along with a pint of milk, tea and coffee and a couple of packets of biscuits)...the farmer usually sticks his head around the door when he sees the lights on on Saturday night

We always use the (largish) Morrisons in Bude for the shopping - we pass it on the way to and from the cottage every day. There's a Sainsburys Local in Bude and a small Co-op in Holsworthy and that's about it!

It's only 3 miles from Axminster so no problem really, but it makes life easier :)
It was the heavy stuff I wanted to get delivered - you know, essentials like wine, coke, that berry cider for eldest :D
Plus milk, cereal, bread, rolls, things like that, so we don't have to go shopping the minute we get there :) Because we're taking Minnie there won't be much room in the car so I didn't want to have to take much with us.
