Morning all.

Head office for me today - I hate going to head office. But on the way back I will go to ikea and call and see a friend so not all bad.

Home alone tonight as mick away. Early to bed though as I have an early start tomorrow as dad has his big op on his eye and needs to be at hospital by 8am which means I will have to leave home at 6.30 to fetch them. And I need to get dog feeds in before I go as poor Millie will be home alone all day.

Morning :)
We had clear patches but cloud as well. We did stay out a while, I saw one really good whoooosssssshhhhhh :D
Today's started off ok but showers due later.

Got to my sewing yesterday afternoon; apart from the laundry bags it's been frustrating as my back was so bad.
Have cut out a top, very simple, from some pretty blue borderie anglaise that came from a boot sale for 65p - and the (unused) pattern was £1 from a charity shop :D
Even allowing for my stupidity when trying to follow 'simple' pattern instructions it shouldn't take too long to finish - whether it will vaguely fit or not is another matter  :D

What you baking Ally?
Hope everyone has a good day, and Jen I bet you two had the best sleep for ages :)
Di

Ps. Morning Debih :) Huge good wishes for your dad for tomorrow xx

Good Morning all :D
I find this modern technology wonderful :D
My niece in New Zealand has had a hip replacement operation
a few hours ago (she is only 50) and I have been "talking" to
her from her hospital bed via Facebook Messenger :D
Quite unbelievable really :D :D

Morning all :D

Up early as we're off to Kent for a few days, won't be back til Friday evening. It's our grandsons 9th birthday tomorrow so lots of excitement I'm sure. I'm taking my tablet and new smartphone so should be able to keep in touch........when we're not rushing around with three very boisterous little boys that is

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning everyone :)

I didn't watch the meteor shower, but my niece did on the roof of her flat in London - then managed to get herself locked out   She got let back in eventually by a flatmate

Debih, huge vibes for your dad tomorrow {{{{{{{{{{x}}}}}}}}}}}

Di I hope you can get your sewing done, despite your back xxxxxxxx

Lissie I hope your niece makes a speedy recovery xx

Jen have a fun time with the little ones :D xxx

Not sure what I'm doing here, we do need a few groceries so it's either a walk up to the Barnwood Sainsbury's or a walk into town to the one there and a bus back - will see how the day goes 8-) It's very grey and dodgy looking here, I'm glad I got all the visitors' bed linen washed and ironed yesterday!

Mick has a fasting blood test and urine test at the surgery this morning - just routine with his BP and cholesterol meds.......

The 'Student Years' have begun here - B wants to go clubbing with her friends on Friday night....not ideal as we leave for Devon on Saturday morning. She's been told categorically that if she's not fit to travel then we'll leave her behind :|

Have a good day everyone :)

Di....nothing spectacular on the baking front, just some shortbread and fairy cakes.

Conor is away till Thursday camping in the mountains and Jacob‘s with Lidia in Torremolinos so Don and I will get the chance to eat the goodies ourselves!
