I wanted us to stop, but the way the road was we would have been in the way and been a hazard There were plenty about to summon help I think, the road was so busy many coming along behind would have been in a much better position to help if needed Mick said the way the other car was 'caught' ie by the back end and spun, they would probably have whiplash at worst, but I still wish we knew that for sure

Shell that's a fair point - I just know for myself I hate being poorly away from home, but B is very matter of fact about his condition so you are probably right xxx

Update - B is still in hospital, but will almost certainly be discharged tomorrow so he will be flying home whilst Z and R continue with their holiday. I'm glad it is all sorted xx

That's a shame Kaz but glad it's obviously not too serious and presumably something Z and R are quite used too so can continue with their holiday x

Well yes - B is in his early 20s so not a child, and his dad is meeting him at Hannover airport to make sure he gets home ok, so they have it well covered.

Z has looked forward to, and saved for this holiday for a long time, so I understand her wanting to stay....so many relatives are still waiting to see her here after all these years.....
