Good Morning Sunday

Postby Diflower » 11 Aug 2013, 07:22

Morning all :)
Dull here at the moment. Yesterday was lovely, spells of cloud and sunshine, so the garden got quite a lot of much-needed attention :) And it was fine for our barbie, pork kebabs, chicken wings, a lemony spiced potato salad I'd been meaning to try, and extra-carroty coleslaw, was yum :)
Today I think we're going to go and see Bb's mum and dad, if it's nice enough probably a walk down to the quay (the one near the mega-expensive beach huts) to watch the crabbing :)

Tonight hope the sky's clearer so we can see more of the meteor shower :)
Hope everyone has a good day
Di

Morning Di and everyone

Another hot hot day 8-)

We looked for the meteor shower last night and although it was a clear night, saw nowt  Will try again tonight :)

Too hot for a bbq, so turkey stir-fry for us - quick and easy.

Bit of hourseworkery stuff for me and we need to root out a suit-case for Bente to borrow - she's bought so much stuff for her grandchildren back in Norway, she needs a suitcase to take it home. Clothes are so much cheaper here than there ;)

Hope you all have a good day and the sun continues to shine xx

They're on the other side Saundra, you can go on a ferry from the quay, it's only a few yards. From the other side, it's a lovely walk from where we lived before :)
Here are some pictures of the quay and the crabbing

Good Morning all :D
A lovely morning here with a feel of Autumn about it :)
Had a phone call yesterday from the Cataract Department
at Estuary View Medical centre offering me an
appointment to have my other eye done
She offered me a few to choose from so I have gone
for 21st September :)
I am impressed by their service when other people are
having to wait so long :D

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny with cloudly spells here.

Those pictures look great Di, I'd love to live near the sea.

Nothing planned, a quiet lazy day beckons.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Awww Loz (((((x)))))
It's funny, I've always had connections to the area. My mum had 2 brothers, the eldest lived in Mudeford; her dad died when she was only 15 so her big brother was very much her favourite sibling (he gave her away when she got married). He had a little fishing boat and every time we were going for a visit he would go out early in the morning specially to catch her a fish :)

Afternoon all, it's a pretty pleasant day here, sun and clouds. I've changed two sets of bedlinen, so that was my lot for the day. There is dancing this afternoon, but "someone" has opted out due to football and golf   I have to go though, as I am giving a pair of shoes to someone who will be there - because of underlying issues which I described a bit over on Relationships board a while back, one of us needs to at least show our face for political purposes  Oh well, better go and get myself cleaned up then. Enjoy your day, everyone :)
