I think they've made a good choice, when I saw the list of those being touted as possibles the other day Peter Capaldi was the only one who stood out and who I could imagine being the Doctor - like you Kaz I never really took to Matt Smith

Since it was resurrected I've been more than happy with all three of them, so long as it's a decent actor they'll be fine
It's the writing really, but the actor does matter, just that so far for me they've each been good as the Doctor

I shall watch it with added interest as his wife Elaine went to the same high school as me and her younger brother Liam was my boyfriend for about a year.
