Colours not printing

Have a Canon MX320 All in One printer. It has suddenly stopped printing blue and red. No problem with black and yellow shows if there is colour in the printing.
Have done deep clean several times and normal clean for the nozzles several times.
When I print the test sheet I get the correct mesh image for the black which shows the nozzles are correctly aligned and a yellow bar. I should have a blue and a red on as well.
Will get a new colour cartridge tomorrow to see if that will work.
Otherwise I will buy a new printer as this is nearly four years old. It has given good service but IMO is not worth spending money on as the cost of a repair could be put towards the new one.

I take it you turn it off for long periods? The heads have probably blocked. On Canon printers the only way to fix this is to buy a cleaning cartridge as the heads are in the body of the printer and not in the cartridge ( I believe but worth checking).

I tend to buy new printers whenever one goes wrong. However I also tend to buy HP officejet All in One printers nowadays because they come with large independent cartridges and also have separate print heads which can be easily changed. Photo reproduction is not the very best but then I find it hard to tell the difference even with a photo cartridge...

Thank you for the reply.
I was using re-manufactyred cartridges which may have caused the problem. Have now bought a new Canon cartridge and printing is back to normal.
Will keep your recoomendation in mind when I buy a new one
