Good afternoon all!

It's dull, cooler, showery and windy here today. I've taken Billy for a long walk over the common, John's just back from his bike ride, Joe's out playing on the close, Tom's still in bed and there's a big pot of the Jambalaya that Di posted the recipe for, simmering on the hob.

Happy Birthday to B! xx

Good luck tomorrow Loz xx

Have a lovely holiday Poll, hope you and Amy have lots of fun xx

Poll nobody there will know you, and you'll never see them again. Pretend you're very confident, jump in that pool and enjoy yourself :D

Nice and civilised then Loz :)
Jo hope you all enjoy the jambalaya :)
Saundra hope it goes away quickly :)

Di, it was beautiful! I did extra rice as John always has a good appetite when he gets back from a ride and adjusted the other ingredients accordingly - we'll definitely be having that again (and again...).

I will try that Di :)

Have just packed our cases, well I have a case and Amy has a smaller holdall she can pull ;) am sure I will have forgotten something, but can't think what! Seem to have everything we need and the cases closed no problem :D :D

Think we are going through to Glasgow around 2ish tomorrow to miss the bad traffic and we can chillax - maybe a wee cocktail before bed lol!

We've had a fantastic day, thanks for all the good wishes everyone :D :D The weather stayed dry, the pub itself was as gorgeous as ever, the food very good and the company very relaxed and happy - B has had a fantastic birthday weekend she said, so I'm more than happy :D 8-) :D

I took some pics, will upload and post them tomorrow 8-) 8-)

Poll I know, she was 7 when we first 'met' and now she's a young adult just about to go to uni   Harry was barely 3 and now he's taller than me - where does the time go??? If we don't 'speak' before you go have an amazing holiday and enjoy the pool with Amy :D :D :D

Loz good luck for tomorrow xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Glad you all enjoyed it Jo, I thought it was the sort of thing that would appeal :)

Poll pretending is quite a good trick anywhere you're a bit nervous/shy. 'They' don't know that, so if you hold your head high and act confident, they assume that's how you are ;)
