I have spent the day in a tiny, airless room at adoption panel.
The council gardener had chosen today to work on the garden area around the room we were in so we couldn't even have the windows open as it was all confidential stuff.
So a room, not that much bigger than my dining room with 8 of us sat in, joined every now and again by an extra 4 adults was rather warm.
And it has been a very fraught and emotional sitting today - not helped by the intense heat. I was glad to get out of there for our 20 minute lunch break!!!!
