Now you see, with all this table business, I totally forgot to mention my expedition to the far away land of mists and forests and impenetrable mountain passes..... I leave, well, asap.

Tell you what I'll do. I'll leave the keys under Elsie's pot dog two doors down. Let yourselves in and make yourselves at home. Feel free to use whatever you find: polish, vacuum, that oven cleaning stuff, iron, ironing board, windowleen etc. Just DON'T stain my coffee table. :-P :-P :-P

Saundra, I hereby put you officially in charge of coasters.

Hmmmph. If I've got to make my own tea and coffee there's not much point lugging all this ironing all that way...tell you what WM, why don't you come down here for a few days?
Free board and lodging in exchange for ironing :D

Don't forget a mop and bucket, either.... and Brasso. The fire surround could do with a seeing to. Don't worry about polishing cloths, I have a stack of unused ones.

Now, about the decorating. The Cookie Crumble silk emulsion is for the alcoves by the chimney breast and the opposite wall. The silk magnolia is for around the windows and the opposite wall. All the woodwork should be in gloss white. The brushes and things are in the cupboard in the kitchen. ;)

I'll be back............ once it's all done. :D 8-)

Enjoy! :-P :-P :-P
