Afternoon :)
It's lovely again here, very hot. We didn't go to the sea wall last night as high tide was too late, but we went nice and early this morning. There was a strong breeze too :)
We also planted some geraniums I got nice and cheap in our two big pots so the garden's not quite so bare-looking, and we've been out for wine and beer supplies.
This afternoon will be too hot to do anything much, but the cricket's on, and barbecued homemade burgers for dinner so the kitchen won't be heating up :)

Head in the clouds eh Vic, that's a bit much!
Enjoy the rest of the day

The sun is out again here now 8-)

I'm about to sand down and repaint the front and back doorsteps, they are painted with that dark brown paint that looks like woodstain and it's been flaking off for a while now. Taking advantage of Pepper not being here - she goes in the car with Mick when he takes Harry back :)

We had the leftover cooked burgers and sausage from last night, with salad and oven chips and steamed veggies for lunch....nobody fancied a roast :?

Afternoon all, it's cooler and quite grey here today. Billy and I had such a lovely long walk his morning, all through the woods, around the pool and then over the common. It's quite breezy and every now and again there was a bit of drizzle in the air so it was pretty refreshing!

Off to Tesco in a bit to try and find a DVD for John and Joe to watch tonight. They wanted to go to the cinema but the movie Joe wanted to see isn't at any local cinemas. Tom and I are going to see a band in Birmingham, the drummer is the son of Green Day's singer. Quite looking forward to seeing them, they sound good from what I've heard.

Enjoy the rest of the day!
