I hope he has a lovely time Fugi, and that your daughter (and no doubt you) doesn't worry about him too much

I'd be okay with all of mine (Mick and the girls) going on holiday with their mates.

It's me they'd have to worry about.................

Actually John phoned earlier to see what plans we've got for weekends in August as he wants to take the boys camping...so I'll be home alone :kick:
I think though that they'd just be a half hour walk away on a site on the Chase...

I have a backlog of unread books on my Kindle ;)
Oh, and I'll be expected to walk to them for a barbecue which is okay. It's a nice walk over the Chase with food at the other end

That sounds a good plan Jo :D

Fugi I hope he has a wonderful time and is only a little bit irresponsible ;)
Eldest would be fine too, but youngest - never! Jo they are definitely equals, yours and Bb's :)

We went out at probably the hottest time, not planned but there you go. Bb's work didn't turn up, it would be better if he'd actually organised a day off.
I said I'd like a parasol so up he jumped and said, let's go and get one then :) Except we didn't. As I've said before, living where we do is wonderful except when you want anything practical - well, anything really :D Our only hope was the next town or the big Tesco, but nowt there except one that was as big as our garden

But we did get a load more chicken legs and a big bowlful of fresh apricots in the market - I love apricots :)

And we've been for another walk round the sea wall and Minnie's had another swim :D I took photos, will try and get them on tomorrow :)
