Morning - we are awake early too, Mick was making tea at half six

Plenty of housey stuff to do today, nothing has been done really since Friday as we were away, and the earlier I do it the more comfortable it will be in this heat....

Have a good day everyone xxxx

Morning all. I was up early too. Out walking the dog at 5.45am.

Work for until 3pm then off riding. The girls haven't been for a while as the instructor has had a baby - I'm not sure what they are the most excited about - seeing the baby or riding in the new menage.

I'll take Millie with me and grab a horse to go out in the woods for a while whilst the girls have their lesson. Its easy enough riding with Millie trotting alongside - she's frightened of the horses so keeps her distance. The horses however are not frightened of her and quite like to antagonise her so it makes for an interesting ride!!!!

Morning :)
Yesterday was St Swithin's day, but apparently we're not going to have this weather for the next 40 days - more like at least 80, there's no end in sight :D :D :D So we should be all right for our week Kaz :D
And I for one will absolutely not be complaining about it, not after last year's non-summer and the 6-month winter we've had :)

Bb has the dentist this morning (check-up) so can get some shopping, yesterday was the doctor for me and the vet for Minnie, so hopefully we'll all be ok for a while :)
Have a good day all

Morning everyone

As you were posting that Loz, I think we were still at the coffee    no, we were on our wibbly wobbly way home

Grumpy still asleep (well, after all that madrona, beer and wine, not surprised  )

Sunny and hot here and a very quiet day, here, I think

Morning all :D

Sleeping isn't a problem in this house, it's the getting up in the morning we have trouble with

Nothing planned for this morning apart from a leisurely brekkie, then it's the cinema this afternoon. We're off to see Pacific Rim, it's had good reviews so looking forward to it. Course it helps the star is Idris Elba, we've been glued to Luther for the last few weeks so it will be interesting to see him playing a completely different character.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Di I love this weather - I just need to adjust my body clock to do the housework early before it gets sweltering ;)

By half ten I'd watered the plants, bought the washing in, done a big pile of ironing, hoovered and dusted the whole of downstairs, cleaned the loo, and swabbed all of the hard floors downstairs :D  Upstairs is a bit of a tip but that can wait until early tomorrow now............I'm going out with Doreen to the big Argos as soon as she gets here 8-)

Afternoon all, we were up early this morning as we needed to be at Miss Osc's for 7.30am, thank goodness they only live up the road now! They had an appointment in town at 8.30am so we had our breakfast with Michael and spent the morning with him. Murphy's Law of course, I woke during the night and took ages to get back to sleep  Drove Mr. Osc to the golf club to meet his friend and play golf, and then Miss Osc and hubby got home while Michael and I were playing football :D When I got home, I had lunch and then a bit of a nap in the chair. Awake now, so will do a few bits and pieces around the house. Not fully sunny here but really nice and warm - it's great to be able to put on a teeshirt early in the morning and know that you won't need a sweater/jacket/umbrella for the day :D Enjoy the rest of the day everyone :)
