I spoke a bit too soon about Minnie...ho hum, one step forward and one back again.

Red sounds nice Saundra :D
Jo I never get it, how do people sit there? My s/mother never had the windows open - 'the flies come in' I couldn't bear it, I'd go straight in and open them, and the back doors too. It's not just the heat is it, it's the fresh air.

One day my s/sister went and said not only were the windows shut but when she felt a radiator that was on too  Her mother said she wondered why it was so hot

Poor Minnie ((((Di and Minnie))))

I honestly have no idea how they handle the heat like that, like you say though it's not just the heat but the fresh air too. I have to have the living room windows open and also the study window and we get a nice bit of fresh air circulating that way (unless next door are outside smoking of course...).

The radiator on too?!

Good afternoon my friends.

I've been busy today. Shopping at Aldi this morning. Then giving first aid to one of the aged residents here,
who was knocked over by the Lodge automatic-closing front door, gashing her forehead. I did manage to
stem the bleeding until the ambulance arrived. She seems ok now.. It happens to be her birthday today, but
I thought it best not to wish her many happy returns. :-P

This afternoon I've been setting up a new mobile phone. It took me ages to find out how to open my old one
to get at the sim card, and the maker's web-site wasn't much help. But I won in the end, without resorting to
brute force.

Will be watching the telly tonight.
