I did a student exchange to Tahiti when I was 15. 30+ degrees and at least 90% humidity. We had PE one day. And we're told to run around the track, so off I went at a cracking pace. Finished the lap, then stopped and waited for the rest of the class to catch up. (Well I was a few years older than them). That's when the teacher told me the rest if the instruction which I hadn't understood, "keep running or 12 minutes around the track" I don't do running in heat and humidity.

I deleted the meet poll announcement, the sticky from January about having a meet, and unstickied Ally's thread.......that wasn't deleted it has just fallen back into date order so is still on here a couple of pages back. The top of the page was getting a bit crowded

We did.

We've got the film sat by the side of the dvd player (borrowed it off his parents well before xmas) and still not gotten around to watching it.

We rarely watch films - far too much dross to be watching on Sky tv.

I really must watch it though.

I'm awful for not watching DVDs. Tom bought Bridesmaids for me for Christmas 2011 and I've still not watched it - John has though

I bought two soap spin-off DVDs a couple of weeks ago "Paddy and Marlon's Big Night In" from Emmerdale and "A Knight's Tale" from Coronation Street Only a couple of quid each, brand new, from Amazon.......... I haven't watched them yet though, strangely M looks at me in disgust when I suggest it...............

Maybe next time I have a big ironing pile...............
