Annoying Adverts

Postby Aggers » 03 Jul 2013, 17:02

I have happened to discover a website that might be of interest to those who may
be fed up with adverts that keep popping up on the screen unsolicited.

This is it... http://www.networkadvertising.org/choices/#completed

I shall use it every week or so and hope that it continues to work.

For Firefox or Chrome based browsers you can use the free add-on/extension AdBlock Plus. It uses the regularly updated EasyList or Fanboy's List to disable ads.

For IE there is no free ad blocker but Adblockie http://www.adblockie.com/en/ is available for about $20 (£15). I am using the 30 day free trial and it works superbly.
