She is off to the dentist on Tuesday after school for the small filling that she refused to have last time we were there. The dentist said that it would take seconds and would not hurt - no injection, no needles, etc - but she kicked up such a fuss we had to leave. I am hoping that Mick will take her (which he will if he is around) because I know that I will end up getting really, really cross at her if she kicks up a stink again.

She has been on a complete sweet and chocolate ban for the last few weeks since we went for the check up and she refused to have it done.

Today I have decided to do nothing.

I have been into town already. I have dropped L off at her friends house. Mick is working. S is off out later.

I am going to read my book for the rest of the day. I may possibly make bread. But then again, I may not.

Debih, I was exactly the same as a child. I got so absolutely terrified at the idea of having work done, I made a massive fuss to the point of my mother refusing to take me ever again. Now my teeth are overcrowded and uneven, and I am ashamed of them

As to the earrings....can I just say you have a LOT more patience than me!
