Morning all. Its gorgeous here this morning but is set to turn to rain later this afternoon (which I am secretly praying for as L has a sports event this evening - the one cancelled from last Thursday - and I just can't be bothered to trapse all the way to the venue, to struggle to park, to stand around watching it all going off just for her to do the skipping race. ).

Work for me this morning (making up for being off on Tuesday) and then I might go riding or I might go to the allotment depending on what the weather is doing. Have to nip to County Hall at some point though to pick up my adoption papers for next week.

Quietish night in tonight - sports thing finishes at 7pm (although it will probably take an hour to get out of the carpark going on previous experience), home and then back out again to collect S from cadets at 9pm. Am hoping Mick makes it home today so he can do some of the running around too although am not expecting him back until tomorrow.

I‘ve just spent ages reading all the posts about the meet.

I‘m on the 11.20 train to Glasgow this morning. Yipppeeee.

Niceish here at the moment, although it's sunny at the back and cloudy at the front.

Saundra it's like that here, yesterday they told me it was going to be dry, clouding over late afternoon with the chance of a shower. 'Late afternoon' is apparently soon after 11 o'clock, as it was dark and cloudy by then!
By about 2 it was even darker so I took the washing in. It never did rain, and some of the time it all cleared. It's been like that most days, some the other way round with late afternoon and evening sun.
We've actually had very little rain for quite a while, but it almost permanently looks as though it's about to tip down.

Debih I'll hope you get a good downpour then
Not sure what I'm doing today, a lot of odds and ends I think.

Good Morning All,

Well its already raining here, and not much chance of the sun coming out, though it was glorious yesterday.

In work and its a busy day, with the first of our internal audits taking place this afternoon.

Glad everyone had a good time in B'ham and got home safely.

Ton, take it easy and give Gladys a good rest lol.

Maybe going out tonight for a catch up with my friend, and our daughters.
