don't know whether any of the elderly who contribute to VV are as fed up as I am with the damned government blaming all the countries ills on the aged.. Millions of immigrants have been allowed into this country, and millions more are expected.. We elderly and aged are minnows in a swamp.. Hospital failures
"blamed on the aged" council costs, "blamed on the elderly" government costs "blamed on the elderly" The state of our country "Blamed on the elderly" They cannot get rid of us aged leeches so easily all the time we manage to avoid hospitals with Pathway having been exposed so they will starve them to death and put them at great risk and personal injury by withdrawing disability allowances and help.

Of course you are to blame. If you lot had stayed out of the bike sheds and hay lofts there wouldn't be so many of us Baby Boomers about. And we are the upcoming problem requiring so many immigrants to put more NI contributions into the pot.

I mean, far be it for any government, of whatever colour, to take any blame for being so profligate with our contributions. Ooh no! With their legions of financial advisers and economists they invested our money wisely: didn't they? And anyway, they couldn't predict that loads of us would not die at age 67, as used to happen. So they finger-point at each other. We didn't spend it as badly as you lot did: nah, nah. When that doesn't work the only ones left to blame are us.

And of course those Pensioners who have lost thousands from their pension and investment's, no effect of course on the greedy B'ards of pensionable age in the government.
Costs for going into an old peoples home up to £1,000 a week in far too many cases, to be abused.

We have the millions here and coming here Frank, and of course governments insist the problem they present has no effect on the state of the ark, millions more arriving legally and illegally before and after the open door policy (that we have already) that will be open wide as from next year.
Slough is full of these people, allotted houses with garden sheds in their back garden that they let out to fellow countrymen

You like myself have travelled enough to realise the serious state this country has sunk too.. Recovery unlikely, we are I believe already as far as claiming to be English who are fast approaching to be in the minority.. English? who are they!!

My wife and I have decided that while we are still fit and active we are spending our savings, mainly on cruises. Three more already booked for this year. I went into the RAF at 18 and worked for several different companies before taking early retirement when I was 62. So I have paid my taxes. My wife started work at 14 and finally retired at 64. We have never had any benefits from the government. I am still paying income tax as I get a private pension.
My SIL who has never worked gets every benefit going, including a rent free council flat. Her son and family are also on benefits. Grandson who is now 21 is not working. When he left school at 16, he was offered an apprenticship to become a plumber. Struck it for two months. His father turned him out as he would stay in bed until the afternoon.
There must be many other similar cases. There are those who will work and there are those who expect the goverment to fund their lazy life style. No one should be allowed into this country unless they have an address where they will live, and money to support themselves for at least six months.

Half those leaving schools lack communication skills cruiser, a great majority are unemployable, that is not the fault of the aged, but due to removing the power of authority from parents and teachers. We live in a system whereby the honest and needy suffer, and we see those who milk the system to the hilt and get away with doing so.... I agree that there should be a clamp down on the dishonest I feel however that the truly needy are being made to suffer, the disabled and the elderly who have had to resort to disability benefits through no fault of their own discovering that they are being cut. But millions indeed billions can be found being to sent to India, (who don't want our money) and other countries who are in receipt of British Aid.
