What a day, friends, family and cake.

One tired and very happy little girl, even if she did learn about 3pm that eating an entire packet of lollies snuck off the table isn't a good idea. Only took about half an hour though for her to bounce back.

All those years ago I was 4 in the January and started school I think after Easter, although it may have been September. I could read before that, never stopped since

LOL Di my mum taught me to read before I started school as I was desperate to learn - she used the Rupert annuals that I loved so much The teacher told her off when I started school, as apparently she taught me the 'wrong way' that didn't fit in with their methods

Thank you everyone for the birthday wishes for Sasha.
I've been quizzing the school, as I want to use the same methods that they will use. Haven't had too much back from them yet, but there is a meeting week after next for parents of 4 year olds which I will go to see if I can find out more.
