Not a good weekend.

Postby Workingman » 13 May 2013, 09:30

I have just surfaced from a weekend of not being able to keep anything down for more than a few mins - not even warm water. I have been so cold that the heating has been on and I feel as though I have been kicked in the stomach by and angry mule.

Thankfully a small bowl of porridge and a weak warm coffee have stayed down this morning.

I was thinking of changing the bedding to something lighter, but now I am thinking "later" will do.

Hi WM,

Sorry to hear that. When I get that bad I usually head for somewhere selling immodium then I'm very careful what I eat. Do you know what it was that caused the problem? Is there any single thing which sticks out?

Keep well.

Awww WM you poor thing, those kind of bugs are horrible things, and just have to be got through...as with animals, at the first sign of anything like that I'd always say just don't eat. Bit late for you now though ;)
Hope you feel much better soon

Nothing stands out as a cause Suff... and I haven't been able to eat till today Di. :D

I guess that is is one of those bugs you have to live with till it runs its course. Soup will probably be on the menu for a few more days. :o

Hope you will soon be feeling better WM ((((((hugs))))) Just take it all very easy today and maybe some flat coke and something a little salty, like pretzels to nibble on when you feel up to eating a bit more.

Oh you poor thing!!!! :( Don't worry about food too much, just try to get as much fluid as possible - Loz's suggestion of flat coke is good as it has sugar etc in it (((((((x))))))))
