Good morning Monday

Postby debih » 13 May 2013, 07:07

Morning all. Sunny but cold here with rain forecast for this afternoon.

Work for me this morning and then home to do the ironing - I really can't put it off any longer.

Morning Debih, morning everyone :)

It's bright here but chilly again - wish I could have bought some Corfiot weather home with us  :D 8-)

Debih I have my own leaning tower of ironing waiting in the utility for me  Really must get on with it

So it's ironing, general housework and maybe a walk later as I need the exercise.......hope everyone has a good Monday :D 8-)

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny at the moment, if the rain stays away we really need to tackle the garden. Nothing else planned, expecting a client at 9.30 and need to pop to the local shops and thats all the excitement here today.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning everyone

Another gorgeous morning - flip-flops and no sleeve thingies are now the order of the day 8-)

No h/w for me - did it all on Saturday :D

Car mechanic arriving this morning, to go for a drive with Grumpy to listen to the cherlunk kerlunk cherlunk noise  :?: We think it's the wheel bearing, but the expert opinion is needed  And we want it done before we go away - don't want anything falling off

I've got some ironing, so if I smuggle it across, do you think it will be noticed? Only a small amount - honest

Have a good a day as you can everyone xx

Good morning friends.

Lovely morning here - so far. It's shopping for us now,

Then a visit to the docs for ear syringing (which I hate).

Have a nice day.

Morning chums, not too bad a day here. FiL is on his way back home now. He usually stays for over a week, but he wants to get back home to play bowls tomorrow :D
I'm not sure what I'm doing today yet. I'm just waiting for the vet to call and I may have to take Jasmine cat down again. She really isn't well.
So apart from cat watching I'll make the day up as it goes along.
Enjoy your ironing, ear syringing and whatever else you are doing today :D

Morning :)
Phew, one of those busy starts, but now sitting here with a coffee :)
It's changeable here, dull and breezy, some very dark clouds with teasing glimpses of sun. Don't like the look of tomorrow at all, great big swathe of rain for much of the day.

Anyway, I won fifty quid :D At the food festival the local radio station had their bus (which is also a mobile pub!) and were giving out postcards, 5 would win £50; you just had to listen this morning and be ready to phone in with the number on it - so I did and I won :D
Had a good time at the food market, did have a look at the demo marquee but didn't want to spend the time in there really, as by the time I got out it would have been impossibly busy. So had a lovely wander, bought a yummy Thai chicken stick to eat for only £1, got some venison steaks and really good wild boar & apple sausages. And the first of the local strawberries, which went nicely in a reduced cheapo plain cream sponge :D
Shopping on the way home, and a few bargains in Morrisons, including last night's dinner. A boneless lamb shoulder joint, it was in a minty marinade, most of which I washed off ;)

Today looks like being a houseworky-filled one, and I have ironing too...will stop it all at 3 and watch the cricket :)

Have a good day all, hope the syringing isn't to bad, and thinking of you and Jasmine Loz
