Good morning Saturday

Postby Ally » 12 Oct 2024, 05:27

Good morning.

Sunny and forecast 26°. 8-)

A swim later this morning then get ready to walk into town.

Today is Día de la Hispanidad - National Day of Spain - and celebrated in the way the Spanish know how to celebrate and that's by partying.

There's parades to enjoy, enormous paellas cooked in the different plazas and a jolly time to be had. :D

I'll make sure I'm home in time for SCD tonight and the Chinese takeout delivery. :P

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Dark, but flashes of lightening and loads of thunder and rain. And a wet cat

I was woken up at 4.00, to be told it's raining, then just about dozed by 5.00, the cat wanted to go out  Couldn't get back to sleep, was listening to the rain and thunder. And waiting for a wet cat to want to come back in

She's a pain when it's windy or wet, hates it.

Not sure what we'll be doing today. If it's dry, we'll be down the bar later, meeting friends.

Rather warm Thai curry for dinner.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all :)

Ally, that sounds like great fun - enjoy :) xx

My friend's cats are the same in wet weather, Jan :cute: ;) xx

It's looking grey here, but nowhere near as cold as yesterday morning, scraping thick frost off the car at 8.30 am  Becky is about to walk the pups, Daisy is still settling in very well - little angel :) :D We'll be taking them both out with us for breakfast so we'll see how she does with another new experience. So far, so good, meeting D yesterday and our friends Em and Dave. We'd like to be able to take them both pretty much everywhere with us, as we have been doing with Fraggle. Fingers crossed XX

I'd interview went well yesterday, although they are interviewing a lot of people - apparently they put it on with three agencies, including the one B is registered with, so we'll see. She was out last night at a quiz night, catching up with old friends :)

Have a good day everyone :)

Morning all :D

Grey, then bright plus rain, a real mix :?

We were up at silly o'clock for the M&S trolley dash. Got everything we went for so shouldn't need anything else for a few days. Oh and my sister's just e-mailed me photo's from Vanuatu, they're having a five day break there, it looks absolutely fabulous.

Looking forward to Strictly tonight. Will also watch The Voice, my friend's twins Billy and Louie are on again as part of Tom Jones team. Want to see if they get through.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Good afternoon.
Been to the atm today, now waiting in for a delivery. They tried to deliver yesterday (a day early) but we were out.
Bright and chilly here, the heating is going on later for sure.
Vic, what a dog!
Kaz, figers crossed for B. Jan, our cat was like that with snow. Ally, that sounds like a fun day. Vanuatu sounds incredible Jen.
Have a good day everyone.

ps I hope Cruiser is OK, he hasn't posted for a while.

Did he not say that he was going away for a few days: the Lakes?

I really do hope that he is OK.

I’ve just looked at his last few posts and can’t see any mention of going away. I do hope he’s okay.
