SCAMMER Warning

Postby Workingman » 20 Jul 2024, 17:15

I have a message from a security site I use.

Following the Internet breakdown this week sites have been set up to scam us.

If you get an email or phone call pertaining to be from CrowdStrike (Crowdstrike) or Microsoft (Micro$oft) do not engage. Delete or hang up - you are NOT impacted. All they want are your personal details - bank, NI number, C card details etc. possibly via a download.

Be Alert!

If I have a phone call to say they are from the bank, I just say I willcall in at the branch next time I am in town to discuss the problem.

End of conversation.

Any emails are deleted without being opened.
