Good morning.

Yesterday was unbelievably hot. More of the same today. 8-)

I'll have a swim then really must start getting ready for tomorrow including checking in!

The twins are coming over around 5 for a few hours so Don's doing a BBQ. :D

Have a great day.

Good morning Ally and everyone

Pack a jumper Ally, it really isn't summer here (although saying that - next week it's meant to warm up a bit). Enjoy the evening xxx

WFH day for me - but will probably end up taking a 1/2 day leave as doing a few personal things: picking up friends from Heathrow at 10am, vet appointment at 3pm and shopping in between.
It's a sunny start to the day with lovely blue skies, but again that cold nippy wind.

Have a lovely day all x

Morning Ally, Ria and everyone

Stunning sunrise this morning, and although was very pleasant at 7.00, it's rather warm now. Hitting 40C again today.

Been a busy few hours, getting everything done outside, before it gets too hot. I'm just having a coffee, then into the pool, to cool down

Looks like I might be going out to lunch with Jan and some friends, but I'll know more later.

Other than that, we'll be inside, in the cool, shutters shut, windows open just a little and drinking lots - of water

Cold chicken and salad for dinner 8-)

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Yikes!

I forgot I have a haircut at 11. :o

I'll take the car in as it's too hot to walk and it has the bonus of aircon.

I've checked in and looked out my clothes.

Morning all :D

Nice and sunny 8-)

We slept in this morning, haven't done that the last few days. It's shopping day, no rush this week though, we really don't need much at M&S as we'll be in London this Sunday. We will still visit Westwood Cross as there are a couple of things I want to look for in Boots.

No other plans, I'll be doing a chilli for dinner this evening. I haven't been able to eat rice since my diabetes diagnosis, it makes my skin prickle and burn, really not nice, so we've got used to having cauli cheese with it and I actually prefer that these days.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Good afternoon folks.
Windy here but it has warmed up a bit now.
We have been to vote (MrsC insisted) and MrsC has fielded a call from Dewsbury Hospital about her Uncle Jim.
Asking exactly the same questions that they asked last time he was admitted. When they asked about any adaptations or equipment that he might need MrsC said very politely that Occupational Health had already been out with it six months since.
Does nobody check patient records?
We have been to Sainsbury's and later on we are picking Eliza up from school.
Ria, I hope the vets isn't too £££££.
Shame about the rice Jen.
Have a good day all.

Good afternoon everybody,

I had a pedicure this morning.
I asked the lady who does it if her daughter had voted, She is about 2 years pld and has a degree .
Was told she used AI and after answering some questions was told she should vote
for Liberal,
This is in a strong Labour constituenty.

This afternoon I will just be pootling.

Have a good day everybody.
