Been awake since 4.00 again At least I get the hear the dawn chorus every morning, along with Junior the donkey taking part

I have been banned from doing virtually all gardening, as the hernia keeps popping out This morning, I-ll be cutting around small plants, so he can see where they are, when he eventually gets around to strimming.

Had a choice of bbq or lunch out today and lunch out won

Popping in to see Chris and Lucy on our way back. I offered to store all her trophies from the Olympics, Euro's etc, in case of another break in, so we will keep them up here, in a secure, locked place.

Posting from the hospital as I brought my friend in for her hip check up.
She's doing fabulously.

As it was 32° here yesterday and set for similar today I'm feeling very summery in a sea of uniforms in my Nirvana t shirt and cut off shorts.

We'll have a bit of lunch at Gambrinus when we get back.

Morning all, it’s mostly cloudy here but the sun does seem to be making an effort. I had a terrible night, the sinus infection really kicked in and I think I had a temperature for most of the night, haven’t had a dose like this in a long time. However, I’m up, dressed and even have makeup on. We are going to a funeral this morning, SIL’s mother’s partner who died last week. The church is within walking distance thankfully. The ex-wife of the elderly man across the road, who has been in hospital for a few weeks, said she would call here today to update us about his condition, don’t know if we will be back in time though. Then I will be collapsing for the rest of the day - I don’t do well without sleep! I’ve dosed myself with paracetamol and will bring lots of tissues. I didn’t go to my mobility class yesterday, didn’t feel up to it, but oddly enough ploughed through loads of h/work, so there is little to be done today.

MrsC is having a coffee with her half cousin Angela in town; I've done a bit of shopping and got Pat down the road her paper.

The boiler is on the blink. we may have a leak somewhere in the system I think.

Not sure what we're doing today, I've had an e-mail saying Boots are having an over 60's day today, lots of offers with a £10 off voucher. Will see how the weather goes, might pop over there later.
