Good morning.

Another beautiful day. 8-)

Off for a walk shortly.

We've got the funeral of a lovely elderly neighbour at 5pm.
He passed away yesterday. :(

Have a great day.

Good morning Ally and anybody else who is up.

How do they manage to arrange funerals so quicjly. I know of one beingheld this week. The person died the second week of janauary.
Seems the rematorium is fuly booked.

It was 15C when I got up. Lots of grey clouds and there could be rain later.

Will be dusting and using the vacuum cleaner-

Have a good day everybody.

Morning Ally, Cruiser and everyone

More cloud than sun this morning and not feeling warm at all

Feel like I've done a days work already  Grumpy still unable to move very well and he's not the best of patients, so I've been running around sorting him and then the cat started too

Can't start the washing until some-one gets up, but I've other stuff to be doing.

Managed three hours weeding yesterday - ten 25 litre buckets, stuffed  - and that was just a bit of it  Will do as much as my back will let me, later.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Hello you three and everyone, good morning

Ally - sorry to read re your neighbour; condolences to the family
Cruiser - same weather here where I am; rather meh really.
Jan - don't overdo the weeding, they'll just come back. Hope Grumpy feels more himself soon.

Monday = work from home day for me. Dropped the car off at the garage (again!) this morning; this time for a probably replacement of the washer fluid pump thing. Frustrating bit is, from what I've googled, the part itself will only be about £10 or so, but the labour will take the bill to just under £100 once you add the VAT; sigh :( Got a few little things to do in the garden if I get the chance and I also need to vacuum.

Have a lovely day all x

Morning all, it’s overcast here. Today is a bank holiday, a new one, St Brigid’s Day. Doesn’t make too much difference when you are retired! Edward has gone to play golf and I have various bits and pieces to do, including cleaning the bathrooms. I might go for a walk first though, once I have tidied the kitchen and made the bed - my life is so exciting

Ria,

I have just had to put a new bulb in one of my rear lights. I went on the intternet to find how I got to the lamp hol;der.
Very simple. justtwo screws which are only visible when the tail gate is up. Got the bulb from Halfords. They re in a packet of two
so you have to get two. Halfords would have charged £18.00 just to fit the bulb.
I don'tknow what the local Toyota garage would have charged. So I have saved myself a few pounds.
Have taken both lights off this morning and cleaned the body panel underneath. There was a lot of dust and grime. Not visible
when you clean the car.
I probably could have fitted your new washer fliud pump. Just screw it in place, connect the inlet and outlet pipe, and the eletrical connection.
Should take no more than 30 minutes. I have done it on previous cars.

Good morning.
Grey, as ever.
We need a new book case so today we will be going to the book case shop.
Apart from that it's a very quiet day, as per.
Have a good one everybody.

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny 8-)

Sad about your neighbour Ally.
You'd be very welcome to use my vacuum Cruiser
Don't overdo the weeding Jan, as Ria says they will come back. Hope Grumpy feels better soon.
Car labour charges are awful Ria.
Bank holidays don't effect us either Osc.
Good luck with your bookcase hunt Crommers.

Expecting a Tesco delivery shortly and that's about it.

Hope you all have a good day xx

There's a reason I'm doing it now. I'm just clearing the edges, so Tina and Sergio can see where the flower beds borders are, as they're coming up on Wednesday, to strim everything.

Grumpy can't do it and I'm not allowed and it really needs to be done.

My back is now rivaling Grumpy's, but don't tell him ;)

Quite warm, although it's been cloudy all day
