Merry morning Kaz and Cruiser and everyone - happy Friday

Damp ground here as well (no wonder after all that rain yesterday), but forecast to be dry for the day - temperatures are definitely plummeting though.
WFH day for me (usual Friday). I have an eye appointment at midday and have to go to Sainsbury's to get bits and bobs, but that's about it. Meeting a friend for a quick catch up drink this evening.
Got my car back yesterday, came to just under £90 - YAY!!!! :Hi: :Hi: :Hi:

Have a lovely day all x

Morning all, it’s dry at the moment.

Just about to walk Bill, had a notification that AO were delivering the washing machine between 7 and 9 and they were spot on - they were here at 8. Great service, less than 24 hours after I ordered it.

Tesco are due later. Joe’s back at work today, although it’s his work from home day so he’s still here. Once he’s finished he’s off to Poole for the weekend. Tom’s due back from Wales later tonight.

What a relief with the car Ria!

Have a good day all :)

Morning everyone

We have sunshine :Hi: A lot of rain yesterday and last night, so to see the blue sky and sun is lovely 8-)

Sounds reasonable Ria, and enjoy your catch-up later.

I'm off to the coffee morning and will be home quite late, as there is a committee meeting afterwards, so Grumpy has said he's staying here. No idea what I'll find when I get back  He normally asks me to see what I find different, as in, he's re-painted a white wall white and I'm supposed to notice

Might take advantage of the sun and have a couple of beers at the bar later.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning. :D

I slept till 8.30 this morning.
As it's going to be a mad busy day it might be a good job I did.

Another gorgeous sunny day. 8-) 8-)

Going for a walk to Guadalmar with Don. :D

It's the eve of Three Kings so great excitement here in Spain. :cute:

At 5pm the processions start in town. Such a fabulous atmosphere and fun.

We're meeting our friends at 9pm for dinner and drinks. :D

Tomorrow is a day spent with families exchanging gifts and being together. :cute:

Have a great day.

Morning all, it’s sunny but chilly here, Edward has gone to play golf. I’m a lady wot lunches today, meeting up with my former gym buddies at 12.30, so that should be fun. Our Friday night dance has been cancelled as our hosts both have Covid, but we don’t really mind as we are going to the ball tomorrow night. Tesco delivery this afternoon.

Edward’s brother is not responsive and is having some scans today to see what is going on.

Morning all :D

Wet and very windy

Good news about the car Ria.
Hope the scan helps with Edward's brother's treatment Osc xx

I'm moving around a lot better now, still doing the shuffle with the crutches, but the boot's not so uncomfortable so I'm able to keep it on longer. Means I can sit at the table for all meals and I'm back to using my desktop pc. The laptop is fine, but I much prefer a proper mouse and keyboard and of course the bigger screen.

I know Christmas is finally done when my coffee appears in my usual mug. The lovely new Spencer Bear mug has been put away till next year :( Washing day for Ed plus a Sainsbury's delivery due shortly and that's about it.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Good afternoon all.
It's good to hear that you are improving Jen. good news on the car Ria! They can be such money pits.
We are just back from shopping. We bought some flowers and as the checkout lady put them through she presented them to me and I joked around with her, say that it was the first time a woman had ever given me flowers.
"I'm not surprised!" says the ever loyal MrsC, and the checkout lady says "The drawback is that you are paying for them!", so we had a bit of a laugh.
Off to the hospital to get some bloods done in five minutes.
Have a good day everyone.
