Morning Ally, morning everyione

A little warmer, but cloudy today with wet stuff forecast from tonight for the next few days :Hi:

Gez is coming up this morning for tea and gossip :D As a mobile hairdresser, she hears it all

Will sort out the last of the plants that need protection today and move a few nearer the house, for shelter. Then I'll have a wander around, feeding everything before the rain.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning everybody.

A very cold start this morning. Have had the CH on since 7.00 a.m and the temperature has managedto creepup to 13C. I am sat her with a thick wooly jumper on at the side
of a radiators and keep warming my hands. There is a lovely blue sky ad the sun is coming up.
Had to defrostthe windows on the car beore I went for the paper as I had not put the cover on the windscreen. I have got plenty of de-icer. Bought some a couple f months ago
when i was on offer.

Ironing today so I will be keeping warm.

Have a good day everybody.

Morning you three and everyone

Ally, enjoy the walk and then the rest of the day
Jan, hairdressers certainly do hear it all, don't they
Cruiser, just checking if I read that right.... you've had your central heating on since 7am and you typed your post at 8.16am - which means it only got to 13 degrees in an hour? Or have you not changed the clock on your board and are posting in summer time so it's only 15 mins since turning on the CH? How cold does your house get overnight?

A work from home day for me, and hopefully given it's quiet in the office as so many people are out / sick, I'll only need to go in next week; fingers crossed. Got loads to do in the next few days so having the 3 hour commute time to do things at home really does make it easier.

Have a lovely day all x

Morning all :)

Enjoy your walkconvo Ally :) xx

Jan, hairdressers do definitely get all the gossip, especially the mobile ones - I’ve been a D’s while she’s been having hers done and yikes!!   xx

Cruiser, like Ria I do find that a little concerning. Perhaps you might consider setting your CH on all the time, on a lowish setting so it never gets freezing cold overnight? My mum-in-law Doreen is 87 with a bad chest and she does this xxx

That’s handy then, Ria :) xx

We’re out having breakfast, it’s a damp day here but not raining. Round to D’s afterwards. Not much else planned :)

Have a good day everyone xxx

When I put the CH on the reading was only 10C. It is the oldest I have seen it thisn year.
The loft is insulated but I never had cavity all insulated put in. During the day I kep warm as I goup and down the stairs several times.

I am warm enough in bed as I have two duvets on.

But thank you for your comments. I will let you know when the icicles start forming inside the house.

Afternoon all, late again today. My brother brought me out for breakfast, Edward missed out as he was playing golf earlier than usual. Then my brother got the bus into the railway station to meet our sister, she is going to Cork with him for a few days. Then I went to post a letter and get some milk. After coming home, I did all the ironing so will relax for a while now.
