Morning everyone

Heat not yet that hot yet - cooled down a bit during the week, but really pleasant for walking around 8-)

Off down to the car boot later - I'm treating myself to bacon butties for breakfast :D - then we'll be having a bbq later.

Have a great day everyone xx

Morning each :)
Not bad here, considering they said it would be mainly cloudy, it's sort of thin hazy sun/cloud.
I quite like being up early Saundra, when the day's all new :) Not 4 o'clock early mind, that's just silly :D

We have several plans but can't do them all, they're in different directions. Plus of course there's rather a lot of visitor traffic clogging up the works, plans often have to be abandoned because too many are heading to the same place ;)
Bacon butties on the cards here too I think, after those two and Minnie have had a walk; I shall have a shower while they're out.

In other shopping news, yesterday I bought us a dwarf apple tree from Lidl, have wanted one for ages so we'll plant that probably tomorrow. Plus the charity shop near Morrisons had a sale, 20% off all clothes and paperbacks all 50p :)
I got 2 skirts, one brand new Per Una and the other Monsoon, and a book that's been on my look-out for list for a long time, The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Society :D Saturday was definitely Bargainday :D
Enjoy your Sunday all

Ooh you did well Di :D
Morning all, weather is perking up, so that's good. Just a dog walk for me and some gardening I think. :D Eldest and his girlfriend are coming round later for dinner, so we have that to look forward to :D
Have a good day everyone xxx

Morning all. I was an early bird today too but have been beavering away in the kitchen.

We are off to a bbq and bonfire tonight over at our friends farm - I think half the village will be there. I have made an olive and sun dried tomato tapenade and some cheese and bacon twists. This afternoon I will make a cappuccino cake.

We are a house of excitement this morning as both the girls have friends sleeping over. I am off to pick up S's friend up in about an hour and then Mick is going to pick L's friend up at 2pm. L is incredibly excited as this friend hasn't slept over before although she has been to her's (the time we arranged for her to come and stay poor Kira was in hospital with suspected appendicitis).

Good afternoon all!
It's absoflippinlutely gorgeous here :D
I went to the gym first thing, I usually have weekends off but it's closed tomorrow with it being the bank holiday and the council's reluctance to pay the staff bank holiday rates...plus we're off for an Indian buffet this afternoon. There's a restaurant just opposite the estate which is supposed to be excellent so we thought we'd go as a birthday treat for John and Joe as it's inbetween both of their birthdays, plus Joe's never been to an Indian restaurant before and Sunday is buffet day so he can try a variety of dishes. I'm not keen on Indian food but as long as there are onion bhajis and naan bread I'll be right

Lovely bargains there Di :D I've been fancying reading that too!

Have a lovely Sunday! :D

We had a good time, there's a New Forest Spring Show on today at the grounds where they have the main summer show, but it's free :D
There was a horse show going on as well, they had ferret racing, willow weaving, all sorts of forest-type crafts, lots of local food and craft stalls, and Forest info of course. I bought some really yummy cheese, from a new company at Cranborne, this one:

And best of all we got Minnie a piece of antler :D The actual company that sells them was there, but there was also a local stall, selling just items made from the Forest, and they had some - local and cheaper too! Minnie absolutely loves it :D

Enjoy your buffet Jo :)
