Good morning Sunday

Postby Ally » 15 Oct 2023, 06:15

Good morning.

Absolutely beautiful weather. A lovely 29° so perfect for walking round in shorts and t shirt. :D
Walking being the buzz word. We did 26kms yesterday.
I can see new trainers being purchased soon.

Today we're getting the wee bus that'll take us to the Alhambra Palace.
Really looking forward to seeing it and exploring the area.

Tonight we're going to an Indian restaurant aptly named The Maharaja.

Have a great day.

Good morning Ally and anybody else who is up.

Ally, I have been to Alhambra palce on one of the many trips to Spain.

It is only 13C here but there is a lovely blue sky and the sun is shining so it may get warmer.
Had the heater in the car at maximum when I went for the paper. Am resisting putting the CH on as I am going up and down thew stairs so keeping the circulation going.

Want to do some little jobs outside later while it is dry.

Have a good day everybody.

Morning all :)

Ally, that will be so interesting! Hope you have a fantastic day :) xx

Cruiser, it's the same weather here - lovely and sunny, but very chilly! I cracked and put the heating on for an hour, so my towel rail would be warm and give me a nice warm towel for after my shower  We're out shortly for brunch, round to D's afterwards then I have my jabs at 4pm. Dinner is Greek lamb bake - a Slimming World recipe I haven't tried before, but recommended by a few of the group members.

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning everyone

Mist has been rolling in and out, so we decided to have coffee in bed ;) Once that goes, might get some showers this afternoon and no higher than 27C.

Sounds a great day Ally xx

General pootling for us, no idea what, but we'll find something to do.

Hope you have no reaction to the jabs Kaz xx

Roast pork loin for dinner.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, it’s a lovely sunny day again, but also cold - I’ll take that though. I have washing on the line, working my way through summer clothes before I put them away. There’s a pile of ironing which needs to be done today. Edward is making apple jelly. Everything on yesterday’s list got done and hopefully that will be the same with today’s list.

Good morning.
Sunny here too and cold; there was a frost this morning.
The Alhambra Ally! There's one of those in Bradford; and Barnsley. ;)
It's our son's birthday and he's coming round for lunch with his gf.
So we need to tidy the house a bit - can't be scruffy!
Have a good day all.

No plans today, we had a nice lie in so having brekkie/lunch in one go. Roast chicken with veg for dinner, custard and jelly for pud. Made banana custard in the week so have finally got it right, nice and set, but not a big solid lump

Afternoon all, it’s a cold and sunny one.

Just making cottage pie for dinner, it’s not often there’s all four of us on a Sunday. Either Joe’s away or Tom’s gone out or me and Joe are at the match.

Hope you’re ok after your jabs Kaz. Just an achy arm today after the flu one but nothing in the other arm where I had the pneumonia jab.

Have a good day all :)
