I was going to say: "You wimp!".

But then I have sort of cracked in that I have removed the summer part of my duvet and put the autumn part on.

Mind you, looking at the longer range forecasts it won't be long before I popper them together for the full winter job.

We have had it on this week, and we have it on now - it's been decidedly chilly, especially when it's started raining.
We've set the thermostat to 21 this year as the price has come down a bit; I think we had it on 19 last year.

I never use the timer or thermostat, I go manual.

I turn it on for an hour when it is needed and the place stays warm enough for two to three hours before it needs another hour long blast.

Even in the depths of winter four or five blasts from 8am will keep the place comfortable till 11pm.

We never use a timer, we just put it on when we need to - the ambient temperature is the 21 setting on the thermostat.
Sometimes although we feel chilly, we find the radiators have gone back to cold ...... :| We could push the thermostat higher, but we've resisted so far.
