Good morning Sunday

Postby Ally » 01 Oct 2023, 05:51

Good morning.

Another gorgeous day forecast. 8-)

I'll have a swim mid morning then chill by the pool reading.

Roast chicken and salad for dinner.

TV tonight including a vote off on SCD. Wonder if it'll be dad dancing Les, Jen?

Have a great day.

Morning everyone

And what a gorgeous morning it is 8-) Lovely and warm already :D

All the watering done and it's the start of the birthday week, so a cooked breakfast and then a bbq later.

Apart from that, I have no idea what we'll be doing. If anything

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing/not doing xx

Morning all, it’s a nice sunny one here, a nice change from yesterday’s rain. Today we shall be mostly watching golf and hoping to see Europe winning the Ryder Cup. I’ll get out for a quick walk around the block before it really gets going. Loved Strictly last night, my guess is Les or Jody to go home.

Good morning.
Grey and raining here.
We could do with a little bit of the Spanish / Portugese sunshine.
I've prepped the veg for Sunday dinner and put the roast in. Just us two today.
MrsC has taken Eliza swimming and is taking her straight back home afterwards. Eliza is invited to a party this afternoon. She's got a better social life than us!
It doesn't look like we'll be able to get out much this afternoon and it will be an early night tonight.
Have a good day everyone.

Morning all :D

Bright sunshine 8-)

Loved Strictly last night, Actually thought Jody did really well considering his disability, hoping Les goes home.

All change, we've been having salad with our roast chicken all summer, but I'm doing lots of fresh veggies and gravy to have with it today. I was a bit worried when the forecast promised warmer weather this weekend, but although the sun's out there's a definite crisp in the air. Still haven't bought more blancmange so we're having jelly with custard for pud. Already had a bit of a disaster, it's ages since I made custard instead of opening a carton, I wanted to make it a bit thicker so it would set. Let's just say it's very firm :o just as well Ed's not a fussy eater

Hope you all have a good day xx

  Sort of thing I would do Jen

It's rather warm out there, too warm to be out in the full sun, I'm leaking

I've just put in four plants into the circle at the front of the house and then cut back what was called a rose bush, but turned out to be a climber

Afternoon all :)

It's quite a nice day here, dry anyway, which is just as well as the washer is on after I managed to chuck a mug of tea all over myself  Luckily the new carpet was unscathed :cute: Went out for breakfast, then to D's. Looks as though the house next door to her has finally sold after a good year on the market  I don't suppose the burst pipe last winter helped much! D is pleased, and so are we, as it's more secure for her to have the house next door occupied.

Jen you're not the only one having culinary mishaps today, I defrosted what I thought were chicken thighs, but turned out to be large diced pieces instead :cute: So as I'd already prepped the veg to go with it I did salmon instead

Love to all xxx

Evening, finally sat down!

Got up just before 6 to give Bill his insulin and see Joe off, he’s staying with Amanda in Poole until Friday. He did well, he left at bang on 6 and texted me at 8.55 to say he’d arrived!
Did some jobs this morning, made an early Sunday dinner and then me and John went for a walk around Birmingham. We got back just before 6pm, planning a lazy night tonight.
