Off for a swim then a lazy day reading by the pool.

Morning everyone

Foggy  Still waiting for the promised rain and it's a rather cool 25C today

Grumpy will be out car port building and I have the postponed cleaning. Not sure what I'll do after that, find something outside, if it's not raining.

Down the bar this afternoon.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning! :)

Glad it's cooled down enough for you to enjoy the warmth, Al ;) xx

Hope you get the rain you need, Jan xx

Well we're off on our holidays today - me, the mister, and the hound :D The weather forecast for next week is pretty good for the South coast, we're planning lots of walks on the beaches with the dog, and nice eating out, blow the diet! 8-) :D Setting off around 10, should only take a couple of hours to get there, traffic permitting.

Have a good day everyone xxx

Morning all, it was very foggy here earlier on, but is clearing up nicely now. My sister is going to a wedding today so she will be pleased with good weather. Edward is ok I suppose, still very tired and his humour needs to be handled carefully ;) Signs of jaundice are fading, we’ll see what the blood tests show next week as something has to have caused it. He has put together a batch of rice pudding today (I don’t know why either) and seems a bit brighter, I’m just taking things day by day. This morning I’ll go to get my prescriptions and take out some money. Might do some ironing later if I can be bothered.

Kaz, enjoy your break and I hope the weather is kind.

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny 8-)

Have a nice holibobs Kaz, where are you off to?

Apparently we're in for a heat wave. My sister and BIL will be in the lake district next week so nice weather will be lovely for them. She's taking it easy and seems to be managing okay, the most painful thing is washing and dressing.

We've had another lazy start, not long had brekkie. No plans for me, Ed will probably have a little walk around the streets later.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Good afternoon everybody.
Ally, the temperature is goin up. 22C this morning. I will have to come and join you in the pool if the rise continues.

Had a lovely day yesterday. The sun came out and it was a vet smooth sail along the canal. Saw a swan some herns and plenty od ducks. Also some smaller
birds on the hedges along the canal bank. Lots of blackberries on the bushes aswell as red hawthorn berries. May be in for a hard winter.

Today have been shopping and to the bank. Although the banks and other firms are trying to make it a cashless society I still seem to have to use
cash at a lot of small local shops I visit.

Kaz, Hope you have a relaxing holiday. Have you got your bucket and spade?
Osc, I have missed the beginning of Edward's illnes. Hope he soon recovers.
I am going to finish the ironing which I starte last night. Will wait till next week to mow the lawn when it is dry and sunny
Have a good day everybody.
