Pit stop at the bar on the way back for a coffee.

Checked the mail box and there was a letter from the hospital telling me my surgery have been postponed   Could be within six month, could be sooner.

Or, I can go oop north, as far as Braga and Porto, to other hospitals, where the op can be done quicker.

Only problem is, how do I get there and back?

And if they want pre-ops a few weeks before, not a hope.

I'm going to have a word with Jan and Joquinha, see what they have to say.

Good luck at the dentist Ria xx

Ouch for your sister Jen and agree with Saundra's advice x

Afternoon everyone :)

Al that temperature is much more liveable :Hi: xx

Jan, I do hope you can get that sorted out xx

Enjoy your lunch Crommers :) xx

Saundra, take care ((((x))))

Ooh Jen, the poor thing! I’m sure your kind offer is much appreciated xx

Ria, the early mornings are definitely feeling like autumn :? Good luck at the dentist xxx

It’s actually beautifully sunny here today :) Mick and I took the hound with us into town, as I had an order to collect from Boots. They said it wasn’t ready, but then I got a text saying it was, but we were in the car by then  :cute: B will collect it for me on Friday, her early finishing day at work. As if that wasn’t confusing enough I then had a text from a random mobile number saying my Iceland delivery would arrive between 12.45 and 13.45 - but I’ve never ordered from them! :cute:  Seems to be my day for confusion  :cute:

Love to all xx

Just sent the standard response back, saying I would prefer to wait and have the op in Beja or Evora, as a five hour drive is just too much.

The hospital can arrange transport up, but maybe not back down, so I'll just have to ait.

This happened with the other hernia and I had a phone call from, a year after I was told it was urgent

Afternoon all, well, Edward has improved but is still drained and weak. To add to it all, I succumbed to the bug yesterday evening, v and d, so it was a very unpleasant night. However, Imodium seems to have done its job and although I am completely wiped out, hopefully things can only improve. One worrying thing though, Edward’s urine is very dark and I noticed yesterday evening that his eyes are a bit yellow. Phoned the surgery, one of the docs phoned today and Miss Osc has brought him for a 4pm appointment.

One piece of good news amidst the misery - we had entered the ballot to get tickets for next year’s Open golf in Troon, with the aim of bringing Michael and we both applied for three tickets. We’ve heard today that we were both successful so Miss Osc, SIL and Kellie can come too if they wish. Hopefully they will and we can get planning.
