Good morning Thursday

Postby Ally » 24 Aug 2023, 05:12

Good morning.

Penultimate day of 39°. :cute:

We must be mad going for a Guadalmar walk but we're leaving around 8am so should be back before we physically melt.

The pool to keep cool after that.

TV tonight.

Have a great day.

Morning everyone

Lovely and cool outside, not so much inside. We've dropped a few degrees and will be 39C today and tomorrow, then the bliss that is 32C on Saturday

Watering done, coffee in hand then we'll head outside for an hour or so, until it gets too hot to work. I have more cutting back to do and Grumpy to concrete a couple more posts, which he will hope are upright

Pool to cool off, then breakfast.

Into Ourique, after breakfast, as the chemist had to order some drops I need, post surgery, so will pit stop at the bar on the way back.

Lazy afternoon and cold chicken and salad for dinner.

Have a great day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Hello you two, good morning - and same to everyone else.

Ally, enjoy the walk - mad does spring to mind
Jan, hope you get everything done you want to
And then both of you enjoy your respective pools!

Tenterhooks here today - GCSE results day for Amelia. We're really not sure how she will have done; I'll be heading over to theirs later today for either a celebratory lunch or commiserations :D Thank goodness for the mobility of my trusty laptop so I can work from theirs.

Weather wise it's decidedly meh - rain overnight and cloud and showers expected throughout the day, but going 'up' to 24 which makes me think it'll be a tad muggy.

Have a lovely day all x

Morning all.
A nice sunny one here so far.
I hope you both survive the heat without too much discomfort, Ally and Jan. Fingers crossed for Amelia, Ria.
The child Eliza is here and she has just thrashed me at Hungry Hippos!
Five is such a lovely age.
Have a nice day everyone.

Morning all, it’s nice and sunny here but Edward was out for a walk and says there is a cool northerly breeze. We’re going to dance practice this morning, afterwards we need to pop into Woodies (like B&Q) for Edward to get stuff for the roof of Kellie’s shed, part of which blew off in Storm Betty. Then back home for an early dinner as Edward and Michael are playing golf at 5pm.

Morning all :D

Bright sunshine at the moment, the forecast is rain :?

Ria, a big well done for Amelia.

We were up extra early and off out to do a trolley dash at M&S. The forecast said to expect heavy rain as the morning went on, oh well it was a good idea :?

We had a lovely walk along the cliff top yesterday, Ed managed to go a lot further than me and all with just one crutch so he'll be taking a walking stick next time. On the way back we decided to stop at a local hotel for lunch. So pleased we made the most of the sunshine.

No other plans for today, intend to be very lazy 8-)

Hope you all have a good day xx
