That was dire, almost like a men's game.

It was like watching a chess game between two contestants with arthritic fingers - neither could move the pieces.

I also have to say that I do not understand the rules anymore. Offsides, interfering with play (in the 6 yard box!), foul throw-ins, tackles from behind - nothing punished.

Ah well, Spain v Aus final.

The refereeing has been poor, it's true. Inbetween bouts of skill Colombia played some real ale house football, clogging away, and didn't even get a yellow.
I missed the game, but will see tomorrow's. We've been lucky so far, hopefully the luck will continue.
