Dinner tonight

Postby JanB » 27 Jun 2023, 19:42

It's been so hot recently, that all we've had is salads.

And as Grumpy needs to lose some weight, we've been having salad most nights.

Tonight, though, thin, almost see through strips of turkey breast, coated in flour, herbs and white pepper.

Salad and a handful of crinkle cut chips. done in the air fryer, so not oil.

Stuffed

Sounds lovely Kaz, but I think it will late September, early October before I cook proper meals.

No oven for me until then.

Sat here, with the fan on, my two black eyes   and leaking

Grumpy is snoring

Oh yum, roast beef

The Portuguese do not cut meat like normal people, it's hacked

We had half a lamb of a friend, a few years ago and most of it went in the bin

The cutlets, so called, were so bitty with bones, and this from a chef

We tend to have our main meal at midday now, Jan, so today it was ready-to-eat king prawns from Waitrose (reduced to £3.75) with a bakie, tomatoes and peas.
With seafood sauce (out of date jar  but not too bad, only last April) :D
